NPC Organizes National Productivity Week
Every year the National Productivity(उत्पादकता) Council (NPC) has been organizing observance(पालन)  of its Foundation Day on February 12 as “National Productivity Day” and the ensuing week  from February 12-18 as “National Productivity Week” throughout the country. The theme for 2017 National
Productivity Week (NPW) is “From Waste to Profits-through Reduce, Recycle and Reuse”. The main purpose of NPW is to draw the attention of all concerned, towards the concept National Productivity weekand encourages implementation of productivity tools and techniques with contemporary (समकालीन) relevant themes. Various workshops, essay/painting/slogan competitions, debates, training programs is organized during the week to spread the message of productivity amongst all stakeholders. National Productivity Council is an autonomous(स्वायत्त)  body under Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India established on 12th February, 1958 to stimulate and promote productivity and quality consciousness(चेतना) across all sectors in the country.
