Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, lauded India’s neighbourhood first policy. Speaking at a press conference on the last day of his India visit, the Nepal PM said that his country's constitution will be drafted keeping in mind the interest of all statekholders and consulting different groups including Madheshis and Tharus. He said that the constitution will provide a democratic and
inclusive society to accomodate legitimate demands of its people.
He pointed out the need for Nepal to have market access to India and cooperate with its private sector. He also said that Nepal and India's security are interlinked.
The Nepalese PM added that both nations were committed to cooperation on security so that their open borders are not misused by criminal elements.
