Schemes pertaining to Food processing Industries in Rajasthan

Secretary, FPI Mr Avinash K Srivastava visited Jaipur and Ajmer on 29.9.16. He had meeting with the Chief Secretary, Govt. of Rajasthan wherein Commissioner Industries, Additional Director Industries, SPV/promoters of M/s Greentech Mega Food Park Pvt. Ltd. , representatives of Programme Management Agency (Grant Thornton India LLP) and PMC (IL&FS) were also present.
Secretary, FPI briefed Chief Secretary about the Greentech Mega Food Park being set up at Rupangarh, District Ajmer, Rajasthan. He also mentioned about the schemes being implemented by the Ministry of Food Processing Industries including Integrated cold chain and SAMPADA and suggested that the entrepreneurs of the state may take advantage of these schemes. He also requested Govt. of Rajasthan for providing special incentive package to the food processing units being set up in the Mega Food Park. Mr Srivastava also visited the Mega Food Park site located at Rupangarh Village, Ajmer District, Rajasthan and reviewed the progress of the implementation of the project. This project is expected to be operationalized by March, 2017. SPV informed that 12.09 acres of land have already been allotted to four units in the Mega Food Park.
