The Ministry of Coal formed a five-member committee to chalk out a policy on the disposal of washery rejects. The panel will be headed by Chairman and Managing Director of Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDI) and the other four members are two directors (Technical and Marketing) of Coal India Ltd (CIL), director of Coal Controller and director
(Technical) of the ministry. The group has been given a task to list out amendments in the draft policy formulated by the ministry vis-a-vis the comments furnished by stakeholders.
Committee will submit report in 15 days.
