Lucknow/Buxar, Jul 29 (IBNS): Expelled Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dayashankar Singh has been arrested in Buxar, Bihar, on Friday, according to media reports. He was on the run for nearly a week after his derogatory comment about Bahujan Samaj Party leader and former Uttar Pradesh chief minsiter, Mayawati, who is also seen as a champion of the Dalit community. On Thursday, Dayashankar Singh failed
to get a stay on his arrest from Allahabad High Court. Dayashankar Singh,BJP's former vice-president in Uttar Pradesh used abusive language on July 20 while commenting on Mayawati, the former Uttar Pradesh chief and Bahujan Samaj party (BSP) chief.
