Finolex Industries Ltd, one of the leading suppliers of PVC pipes & fittings for the agriculture and non-agricultural sectors in India, has been awarded with the national record certificate by The Limca Book of Records for conducting the largest number of plumbers meets organised simultaneously across 26 states and 58 cities. The activity, which was carried out on the occasion of World Plumbing Day onMarch 11, 2016, was recognised and appreciated by senior plumbers across the country, focused on the importance of skilled plumbers in the country. More than 3,000 plumbers participated in this activity.

The plumber meets were aimed at imparting training about the best industry practices and technologies to plumbers and felicitate them for their contribution towards maintaining hygiene, sanitation, and saving water. While the company continues its interaction with the plumbing community by conducting plumbers meet throughout the year in various parts of the country, going forward, it also plans to increase the size and scale of these events.
