The mortal remains of freedom fighter and Gandhian Narayana Pillai, 93, were cremated at the courtyard of his ancestral home, Eeswaravilasom, at Nellimukal, near Adoor, on Tuesday. He was the former president of the Sarvodaya Mandalam. He died due to age-related illness on Monday. He is survived by wife Sulochana Amma and three children.
