A day after formally quitting Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Sucha Singh Chhotepur on Saturday unveiled the flag of his new political outfit, Apna Punjab Party at Chandigarh Press Club. Former AAP Punjab convener, Chhotepur was sacked last month following a ‘cash sting’.In his resignation letter, addressed to national convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, he had said despite his hard
work, he wasn’t given any authority or recognition.
Chhotepur had taken the decision after cricketer-turned-politician Navjot Singh Sidhu had decided not to form a fourth front. Chhotepur had said, “There is a space for a fourth front in Punjab and we will fill it up. I will try my best to bring all natural allies on board.”
