RRB NTPC Results 2016: 2nd Stage CBT results being compiled, to be declared soon, say reports
'New Delhi : The wait of lakhs of candidates could be over anytime soon as the Railway Recruitment Board’s NTPC Results (RRB NTPC Results 2016) are expected to be declared. According to sources close to certain regional boards, various regional boards are compiling the RRB non-technical results for second stage CBT.
The RRB NTPC Results 2016 will be announced as soon as the results are categorized and verified. Last year, a total of 54 lakh candidates had appeared for the RRB NTPC Exam. Only 3 lakh candidates out of 54 lakh had qualified the 2nd Stage CBT Exam.
As per estimates, nearly 81,000 out of the total candidates are set to qualify for subsequent rounds.
We advise the candidates that the veracity of the reports cannot be confirmed at this point of time. Different officials at different regional boars are giving contradicting responses.
An official close to the Mumbai Region’s RRB said that the results would be announced after another two weeks. However, another report from the RRB Thiruvanthapuram suggests that the results are almost ready and could be declared anytime soon.
Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Ranchi officials have now responded on queries relating to the expected date of results.
According to sources, many regional RRBs do not have openings in all the categories and the results would only be announced simultaneously across all RRBs.
Candidates are advised that they should began preparing their required documentation. Some sources even say that Aadhar Card could be made mandatory at the time of document verification.
Candidates with no identification card are advised to apply for it. Railway Recruitment board carried out the 2nd Stage CBT or Computer Based Test to further trim the number of applications it had received against the recruitment notice in the Non-Technical Popular Category.
A record 81 lakh applications applied for 18,000 plus posts in the 9 categories across NTPC. About 54 lakh candidates had given the CBT. Shortlisted candidates further appeared in the 2nd Stage CBT in January 2017. The results of the same are expected to be released soon.

3) Enter the details like registration number and date of birth;
4) Click on submit;
5) Your RRB NTPC Exam Results will appear on the screen;
6) Download the same and take a print out for further reference.
