The online test admission ticket (TAT or admit card) of COMEDK UGET 2017 has been made available on May 5 for all the applicants. The undergraduate entrance test will be held on May 14 at multiple test
centers in 153 cities across the Country. The test is being conducted to fill around 20,000 seats in 150+ COMEDK member institutions and 12 Uni-GAUGE member institutions.

Some 1 lakh-odd applications have been received for COMEDK UGET 2017 which is being held as COMEDK UGET & Uni-GAUGE E 2017 Engineering Entrance Exam. Last year, around 78 thousand engineering aspirants had appeared for COMEDK UGET after the medical entrance test was scrapped. COMEDK UGET 2017 qualified students will be offered admissions in B.E./ B.Tech courses based on the ranks awarded in the test.

The online applications for COMEDK UGET 2017 were submitted from February 13 to April 20 and during the application window, the applicants were allowed to choose 3 cities in order of preference from the available list of test cities in online application form. The allocation of test centers/ cities is done through a computer-assisted randomization/ optimization process and the applicants can get to know their respective allotted test center through UGET admit card.

The allocated test center will be communicated on the online TAT/ admit card which will remain available till may 13. The link to download COMEDK UGET admit card will be disabled on May 13, midnight, hence the applicants must download the TAT one day before the exam and preserve it until the admission process is completed.

COMEDK UGET 2017 will be held on a single shift of three hours from 10 am to 1 pm. The entries will open from 9 am and after 9.30, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall to take the test under any circumstances. The candidates are advised to reach the respective test centers at least two hours before the commencement of the test to avoid any delay.

The test will comprise of 180 multiple choice questions distributed equally among three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The test will be conducted as an online computer-based test and the questions will be based on the existing syllabus of 10+2 standard (2nd PUC). Since there will be no negative marking in COMEDK UGET 2017, the candidates can attempt maximum questions. But one should refrain from doing it so as to reduce the chances of losing rank in case of the tie in the marks.

The answer key of online UGET will be released by COMEDK after the exam on May 18, while the results will be declared on May 29.
