TDP launched ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’ in Andhra Pradesh.The ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu launched ‘Jana Chaitanya Yatra’ in Andhra Pradesh to highlight the welfare and developmental initiatives of the government. He also launched the membership drive of the party in Koppolu
village in Prakasam district, with a target to achieve the one-crore mark from the present 50 lakh.

♦ Andhra Pradesh is the first Indian state of free India which was formed on purely linguistic basis in 1953.
♦ It has second longest coast line after Gujarat.
♦ It is also called as Ratna Garbha of India
