PM Modi appreciates (की सराहना करता है) progress in Indo Russia Ties
India and Russia on Wednesday reviewed (की समीक्षा की) their bilateral cooperation in a range of sectors, including civil nuclear cooperation, agriculture, trade and investments, ahead of the annual summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin next month. Visiting Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj co-chaired the India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic and Cultural Cooperation. Later Rogozin met Prime Minister Modi and apprised him on the progress in bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister appreciated the frequent high level exchanges between the two sides as both countries are celebrating the 70th anniversary of the establishment of their diplomatic ties.
Prime Minister Modi will be visiting St Petersburg to attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum from June 1-3.
