NIACL Assistant Result For Prelims Exam 2017 Expected This Week

NIACL Assistant Result is expected to declare Assistant prelims exam result this week, expectedly on May 2nd or May 3rd, 2017. New India Assurance Company Limited (NIACL) had conducted the

online examination for recruitment to Assistant posts on April 23. NIACL assistant prelims was conducted on April 23 in four shifts wherein lakhs of aspirants participated. The Pre results will be announced in the form of pdf file containing the roll numbers of the qualified candidates and will be available at the official website www.newindia.co.in.

NIACL had published the advertisement on March 3 for recruitment to 984 posts of Assistants in Class III Cadre which includes 976 fresh vacancies and 8 backlog vacancies. As the minimum educational qualification for Assistant post is graduations, the applications were filled in the tune of lakhs during the window from March 6 to 29. Accordingly, all the eligible candidates were issued the admit cards for the Tier 1 (Preliminary) exam which was held in online mode last week.

NIACL Assistant Pre exam comprised of three tests having total 100 marks. The candidates are required to qualify in each test by securing minimum passing marks to be decided by the Company. An adequate number of candidates based on the merit list will be called for the Online Main (Tier 2) exam. For the final selection, the merit list will be drawn out of Mains exam only, however, such candidates will have to crack the qualifying exam – Regional Language Test. The merit list will be drawn up State-Wise and Category-wise, based on the vacancies for particular State/ Category.

Based on the number of vacancies, NIACL Assistant cut-off will differ for each State/ UT. As far as the difficulty level is concerned, the Pre exam was quite easy, as the candidates reportedly said. Hence, it may be assumed that the cut-offs will go high. Here’s how the cut-off (sectional and State-wise) may go:

While many recruitment processes take a long time for completion, NIACL remains as an exception. Based on the NIACL track record, the Assistant Pre result should be out this week only, most probably on May 2 or 3. As the Mains exam is scheduled to be held on May 23 and the shortlisted candidates will be issued the admit cards at least 10 days before the exam, it is prominent that the NIACL Assistant Pre results are announced within this week only.

While the pre-exam was conducted in over 200 cities across the Country, NIACL Assistant Main exam will be conducted in a limited number of cities. The exam details of the venue of the main exam will be intimated through the call letters to each candidate.
