Joseph Mundassery awards announced Kerala Sahitya Akademi chairman and short story writer Vaisakhan has been selected for the Prof. Joseph Mundassery Foundation award for its outstanding contributions in the fields of literature and culture. The award consists of a purse of Rs. 50,000.According to a press note, C. Raveendran, Assistant Professor, Department of English,
University College, has been selected for an award for young writer for his efforts in creating scientific temper among readers.
Award presentation
The award carries a purse of Rs. 10,000. Education Minister C. Ravindranath will present the awards at a function that will be held at the YMCA Hall on January 25.
