Eligibility Criteria for AAI, Chennai Recruitment 2017

Educational Qualification & Experience:

Junior Assistant (Fire Service): candidate should have passed 10th standard and 3 years' approved regular Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Fire with minimum 50% marks/ 12th Pass (Regular Study) with 50% marks with valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License / Valid Medium Vehicle License issued before 31/03/2016/Valid LMV License issued before 31/03/2015.

Age Limit

Age Limit (as on 31.03.2017):- 18-30 Years

Relaxations:  Relaxation in upper age limited for OBC/SC/ST/PH/Ex-servicemen as per Govt. of India rules.

Selection Procedure for AAI, Chennai Recruitment 2017

The candidates will have to appear for Written Test, Minimum pass: 50 marks for UR/OBC, 40 Marks for SC/ST. Candidates qualifying the written test will be subjected to Medical Examination and further will be called for the driving test subject to possessing valid heavy license. Candidates further will be subjected to the Endurance tests. Based on successful performance of above tests/Examination, a merit list will be made as per reservations.
