Nokia to acquire Finnish telecom software company Comptel for $371 million
Finland multinational (बहुराष्ट्रीय) communications and information technology company Nokia announced to buy telecoms software firm Comptel for 347 million euros ($370 million) on February 9, 2017. The aim of the acquisition (अभिग्रहण) to help phone carriers manage their networks as mobile
bmore and more rely (भरोसा करना) on software to improve their networks. It is part of Nokia’s strategy (रणनीति) to build a standalone software business at scale by expanding and strengthening its software portfolio and go-to-market capabilities(क्षमताओं)  with additional sales capacity and a strategic partner network.
