Chandra Shekhar Azad's 86th Martyrdom Day observed on 27th February. Chandra Shekhar Azad, the mere (मात्र) name that could make a British policeman during the British Raj era break into coldsweat(ठंडा पसीना) . He was born on 23 July 1906, in Bhavra, Alirajpur. He died on 27 February 1931 at Allahabad. He lived for mere 24 years, but made a world of difference to India’s freedom struggle. When he died, freedom for his beloved nation was nowhere in immediate sight. But he created huge dents(छात्रों) in the colonizers’ (उपनिवेशवादियों) morale (हौसला) and inspired the generations to come.
