India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves Rises by $ 932.4 million to $ 360.775 billion
The Reserve Bank of India on January 29, 2017 informed that the Foreign Exchange Reserves of India rose by 932.4 million dollars to 360.775 billion dollars for the second consecutive (लगातार)week ended January 20. In the previous week, India’s forex (विदेशी मुद्रा)reserve increased by 687.9 million dollars
to 359.843 billion dollars. Besides, the foreign currency assets had gone up by 926.4 million dollars to 338.434 billion dollars during the week. However, the gold reserves remained unchanged at 18.584 billion dollars during the week, while its special drawing rights(विशेष रेखा - चित्र अधिकार) (SDRs) went up by 2.3 million dollars to 1.442 billion dollars. In addition, India’s reserve position increased by 3.7 million dolars to 2.315 billion dollars during the week in the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
