Government appoints Nargal as Sr AAG, Asif Bhat AAG Government has appointed Advocate Wasim Sadiq Nargal as Senior Additional Advocate General and Advocate Asif Ahmad Bhat as Additional Advocate General for representing it in Jammu and Kashmir High Court. As per the order, sanction (मंजूरी) was accorded(प्रदान की) to the appointment of Nargal and Bhat as Sr AAG and AAG
respectively. Advocate Nargal was earlier appointed Additional Advocate General in September 2015 to handle the litigation (मुकदमेबाज़ी) work of Home Department in the Jammu Wing of the High Court. However, in the month of November 2016 he submitted his resignation on certain grounds. Now, the Government has appointed him Senior Additional Advocate General. Advocate Nargal is an eminent(प्रख्यात) lawyer and has been representing Jammu University, SKUAST-J and many Corporations/ Public Sector Undertakings in the State High Court. The Government has also appointed Sajad Mohi-ud-Din, Sheikh Umar Farooq and Amit Gupta as Government Advocates.
