Father of Pac-Man Masaya Nakamura Dies at 91

Japanese Businessman Masaya Nakamura, who founded the leading video game Father of Pac-Man Masaya Nakamura Dies at 91developing company Namco, died on January 22, 2017. He was 91. Nakamura is considered the Father of Pac-Man. In 1980, he played significant role to introduce the

arcade games in Namco. The most successful arcade ( आर्केड ) game developed was Pac-Man by Toru Iwatani.

Pac-Man has been named in the Guinness World Records as the world’s most successful coin-operated arcade game.  He was also awarded the Order of the Rising Sun in 2007 by the Japanese government for his achievements.
