Virat Kohli no longer the brand ambassador of Adidas

  Virat Kohli no longer the brand ambassador of Adidas Indian skipper in all formats Virat Kohli is no longer associated with sporting gear Adidas as it’s brand ambassador. Virat had signed the contract with the clothing and sporting range in 2014. But as per media reports, Adidas chose not to renew the contract last month and hence he is no longer a part of the brand. As per sources, the decision to not
renew the contract came as a conclusion reached by the both parties. Both Adidas and Kohli negotiated and came to terms to end their association.
Kohli is one of the most sought after celebrities for brand endorsements considering his hugde fan following world wide. He has as many as 17 brand endorsements at the moment. Some of the brands he is associated with are – Tossit, Manyavar, Punjab National Bank, MRF Tyres and many more.
Recently, telecom phone manufacturing company Gionee had also signed Virat Kohli as their brand ambassador. So this come as a real surprise that Adidas decided to part ways with arguably the best batsman in the world at the moment.
Kohli was recently named skipper of Team India’s ODI and T20I team after MS Dhoni decided to step down as captaincy last week. Kohli will next be seen in Indian colors when he leads the Indian team in the first ODI of the 3 match ODI series against England. The first ODI will be played at Pune on January 15.
