Eligibility Criteria for 61 Naval Officer, Sr. Engineer, and Chief Manager Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Chief Manager (Naval Officer) (Mechanical)/ (Naval Architecture)/ (Electronics)/ (Electrical) : Full-Time Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic discipline with First Class or minimum 60% Marks or equivalent, from a recognized University and should have minimum 14 years post qualification experience.
Chief Manager (Public Relations) : Masters Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication/Journalism/Public Relations/Advertisement or equivalent qualification with minimum 60% Marks or First Class, from a recognized University and should have minimum 14 years post qualification experience.
Senior Engineer (ERA)/ (EAP)/ (EAR): Chief Petty Officer/ Master Chief Petty Officer of Indian Navy (Ex-Serviceman) in the relevant discipline and should have minimum 12 years service record in Indian Navy experience. Chief Petty Officer / Master Chief Petty Officer of Ship/Submarine arm of Indian Navy
Senior Engineer (On GATE 2015/16 Merit) (Mechanical)/ (Electrical) : Degree in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical with minimum First Class or 60% Marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University and should have valid GATE score. Additionally candidate should have relevant experience in Fabrication/ Production/Outfitting/ Planning/ Design/Project Management.
Selection Process for 61 Naval Officer, Sr. Engineer, and Chief Manager Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of personal Interview, in case number of applications are more than expected numbers, written examination might be conducted. For the post of senior engineer (Mechanical/ Electrical) Gate Scores will be considered.
