Sai Varshith, Dhanush clinch chess titles Hyderabad: Ch Sai Varshith clinched the open category title while Dhanush Reddy won junior title of the 128th Brilliant Trophy open chess tournament at Brilliant Grammar High School in Dilsukhnagar on Monday. A tie-breaker between Sai Varshith and Digvijay Sunil, who were tied at first place with 5.5 points out of six rounds in the open category, saw
the former triumph to emerge champion. K Trisha with five points took the third place.
Meanwhile in the junior section, Dhanunsh Reddy of Pallavi Model School collected 5.5 points from a total of six rounds to claim top honours. Mir Mahir Ali secured the second spot with five points while Ch Sai Maneendra claimed the third place with 4.5 points.
