TNPSC Recruitment 2016: Graduates can apply at tnpsc.gov.in

Tamil Nadu PSC invited applications for recruitment to the post for Deputy Collector, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Assistant Commissioner, District Registrar, District Employment Officer, and District Officer (Fire and Rescue Service). The candidates eligible for the post can apply through the prescribed format on or before 08 December 2016.

Eligibility Criteria for TNPSC CCS-I Examination
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Candidate should have completed HSC or equivalent and under graduate degree from a recognised university. Apart from the essential qualifications, candidates having following qualification will be preferred such as Degree/Diploma in Criminology and Forensic Science/Commerce and Law, Taxation or Economics /Education / Sociology / Statistics or Psychology.
Age Limit: candidates should be between 21 to 35 years of age (Age relaxation will be provided to the candidates of reserve category).

Height should be not less than 165 cms and should have Chest measurement of 86 cms with 05cm expansion.

District Officer (Fire and Rescue Service)
Height should be not less than 165 cms, should have Chest measurement of 84 cms with 05cm expansion, and should be 50 KG in weight.
Height should not be less than 155 cms and should be 50 KG in weight.
Selection Process for TNPSC
Candidates will be selected through the two-phase examination viz. Preliminary and Mains Examination and Interview.
How to Apply for TNPSC CCS-I Examination
Eligible intending candidates can apply online through the official website in the prescribed format, on or before 08 December 2016.
 Candidates will be charged Rs.50 as one time registration fee, Rs. 75 for Preliminary Examination and Rs.125 fro Mains Examination.
