UNESCO declares Hema Malini as the 'best brand ambassador' for her role in promoting(को बढ़ावा) Kent RO

Veteran actress Hema Malini has added another feather to her cap after UNESCO declared her the best brand ambassador for her role in promoting Kent products, more specifically the RO water purifier. The actress managed to edge out other celebrity brand endorsers including those from Hollywood to get the coveted (प्रतिष्ठित) recognition. Speaking to Faking News a UNESCO official said, “Our team went through a lot of data related to each brand  ambassador and we found no one came close to achieving what Hemaji has manged to do. Though at one point we thought it would be Irrfan Khan for Syska LED but we found that Hema Malini was light years ahead of him in promoting her brand. Not just in India, the brand is synonymous (समानार्थी) across the world for pure water thanks to her efforts.”

The official also added that a certificate will be handed over to the actress soon that will carry the declaration. Earlier too UNESCO has been handing out such declarations on a regular basis.

Bollywood celebrities took some time out from attending success parties to send across their wishes for the actress.

“Hemaji has played many roles in her long career in the industry, but her role as the brand ambassador has been the best so far. She definitely deserves a Filmfare for this,” said director Karan Johar.

Husband Dharmendra too praised Hema Malini for her dedication and said, “Jitni tareef meri nahi karti, usse jyada woh Kent RO ki karti hai,” he said.

The recognition also came with its share of controversy(विवाद) after there were unconfirmed reports that the acteress was found using Aquagurad purifier when some IT officials raided her house. The actress refuted the reports and blamed the media for spreading rumors asked them to stop being a KENT.
