Pawan Goenka gets 2nd term as IIT-Madras Board Chairman

CHENNAI, MARCH 14:  Pawan Goenka, Managing Director, Mahindra and Mahindra, has been granted second term as Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT-Madras. The President of India, in his capacity as visitor of IIT-Madras, approved the nomination(नामांकन) of Goenka, as Chairman of BoG, IIT-Madras, for a second term for three years with effect from June 9, 2017. He had been serving(सेवारत) as Chairman, BoG of IIT-Madras, since 9th June 2014 when he was first nominated to the position for a three-year period, says a press release from IIT-Madras.
