MP PAT 2017: Admit Card Released

As was reported, MP PAT admit card 2017 have been released now by Vyapam, Madhya Pradesh. The admit cards for Madhya Pradesh Pre-Agriculture Test (MP PAT) 2017 are available to download at www.vyapam.nic.in. MP PAT is scheduled to be held this Sunday, i.e on April 23 and though just five days are left, the Board issued the admit cards for registered candidates today only. Around 50-60 thousand students take MP PAT exam every year.

As the applicants have been searching for the exam admit card, we talked to the examination authority – Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination (MPPEB or VYAPAM) and the official confirmed that MP PAT admit card will be uploaded on the official website on 19 April in the evening. The applicants are advised to download their respective admit card from the official website as the Board will not send the admit card by post.

The official notification for Pre-Agriculture Online Entrance Test was issued on March 20 and the applications were submitted till April 3. The test is aimed to shortlist students for admissions in B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.Sc. (Horticulture), B.Sc. (Forestry) and B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) courses. There are 550 seats in B.Sc. (Agriculture); 40 seats in B.Sc. (Horticulture); 25 seats in B.Sc. (Forestry) and 70 seats in B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering) on offer through MP PAT 2017. The admission in these courses will be made only on the basis of merit as per MP PAT exam result.

MP PAT 2017 will be held on April 23 in two separate shifts across 7 cities; Bhopal, Indore, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Ujjain, Satna, and Sagar. The test will be of three hours duration and the shift timings will be 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm. The reporting time is 7.30 am for the first shift and 12.30 pm for the second shift. The entries will remain open till 30 minutes after the reporting time and no candidate will be allowed entry in the examination hall after that.

The students who have applied for B.Sc. (Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry) course, they will have to appear for any of these subjects:

Chemistry, Physics and any of Agriculture or Mathematics or Biology
Agriculture-1 (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology); Agriculture-2 (Crop Production and Horticulture) and Agriculture-3 (Elements of Animal Husbandry and Poultry Farming)
The students who have applied for B.Tech course will have to take the question paper which will have Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics as main subjects.

The Board has also said that biometric attendance will be recorded in the examination centers. The candidates will have to carry one valid ID proof along with MP PAT admit card for the exam, failing which they will not be given entry.
