Assam government approves recommendation of 7th pay commission,before Rongali Bihu
The Assam government has approved the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission constituted (गठित) for over 4 lakh employees. The state government cabinet on Friday approved to release the first six months arrears of revision pay scale to the state government employees before April 14 next. The implementation(कार्यान्वयन) will make state exchequer(सरकारी खजाने) bear an additional burden of over three thousand crore rupees in the next financial year.
The Assam government has decided to release first six months arrears of revision pay scale recommended (की सिफारिश की) by the 7th Assam Pay & Productivity(उत्पादकता) Pay Commission to the state employees before the Rongali Bihu. On the other hand,The Cabinet also decided to set a directorate of the Information Technology Department in Assam.
