Neil Gaiman appointed UNHCR Goodwill (सद्भाव) Ambassador The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the third week of February 2017 appointed Neil Gaiman as a global Goodwill Ambassador. Gaiman is an internationally acclaimed (प्रशंसित) author. He had been working closely with UNHCR since 2013. Neil Gaiman is an English author of short fiction(उपन्यास) , novels, comic books, graphic novels, audio theatre and films.He is noted for the comic book series The Sandman and novels Stardust, American Gods, Coraline, and The Graveyard Book. He is the first author to win both the Newbery and the Carnegie medals for the same work, The Graveyard Book.
• In 2013, his work The Ocean at the End of the Lane was voted Book of the Year in the British National Book Awards.
