Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital invited application for the recruitment to the post of Tutor and Senior Resident. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 14 March 2017. The vacancy for  Senior Resident are in the discipline of General Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Dermatology, Psychiatry, paediatric, General Surgery, Orthopaedic, ENT, Ophthalmologist, radio Diagnosis, Anaesthesiology, O& G, Community Medicine(Lady Medical officer) and Dentistry.  Tutors are required for the disciplines of Anatomy, Physiology, biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, microbiology, FMT and Community medicine.

Senior Resident post candidate must possess a MD/ MS/ MDS degree in concerned discipline for post in clinical departments of broad specialties.

Tutor post candidate should have completed MBBS/ BDS from a MCI /DCI recognised institution.

Candidates applying for the posts of Senior Resident and Tutor posts in Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital should not have crossed the age limit of 35 years. Relaxation is allowed for the candidates belonging to the reserved category

Selection Procedure for District Senior Resident& Other Posts

The selection of candidates for recruitment to the posts will be made on the basis of career assessment i.e. MBBS/ BDS/ M.Sc. (60%), Intermediate (20%) and HSC or equivalent (20%); One mark will be deducted from the accrued career mark for each case of failure/extra attempt taken in any qualifying examination.

Candidates should have to pay Rs.1000/-in shape of Demand Draft to be drawn in favour of ‘Dean & Principal, Saheed Laxman Nayak Medical College and Hospital, Koraput’ payable at SBI Koraput.
