Staff Selection Commission is now all set to release the result of the examination which was held on 04th October 2015 at the various examination center as per the time table as was prescribed, the examination was successfully held and the huge crowd was found at the examination center. The Staff Selection Commission is functioning under the Department of Personnel & Training, Government of India. It was set up on 1 July 1976 primarily to make recruitment on zonal basis for non-technical Group C posts under the Central Government. The main functions are to conduct examinations and interviews, wherever required, for recruitment to the posts within our purview. The examinations are held as far as possible at different centers and successful candidates posted, to the extent possible, to their home state/region.

SSC Constable GD Result Date
SSC Constable GD written exam includes multiple choice objective type question. Candidates have to choose one correct answer from given four answers (A, B, C, D) for one particular question. Exam paper consisting of 100 questions carrying 100 marks. The time duration will be allowed of 02:00 hours (120 minutes). The questions paper was divided in to four parts General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Knowledge & General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, English/ Hindi. Each part carrying 25 questions with 25 marks allotted for each part which will be total of 100 marks.
SSC GD Constable Official Answer Key 2015-2016
All candidates applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be called to appear in Physical Standards Test and Physical Efficiency Test at places finalized by the Commission in consultation with the CAPFs. The Commission will conduct written examination of candidates qualified in PST/PET in both online and off-line mode. The candidates will have to opt for On-line or Off-line mode of Examination in the application form. The written examination will consist of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. Only those candidates who have scored above the cut off marks fixed by the Commission in Written Examination will be required to appear in the Medical Examination.

SSC GD Constable Exam Cut Off Marks 2015-2016
The selection of the candidates will be based on the cut off marks; if the candidates score more than the cut off marks then they will be eligible for the next process. The minimum cut off percentage of marks for selection will be 35% for General and Ex-servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC.
