Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards 2016

Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave away the Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Awards 2016 at a function in New Delhi on Wednesday. The bigest annual event in the Indian media calendar, the awards acknowledge exceptional work across 28 categories in print, broadcast and online journalism in English, Hindi and regional languages. Instituted by the Ramnath Goenka Foundation in 2005 to celebrate the legacy

of the founder of The Indian Express Group, the awards recognise excellence in journalism and showcase outstanding contributions by individuals each year. Here is the full list of this year’s winners:
