Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal launched Safe City Project in Ludhiana. Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal launched the first phase of the safe city project which cost Rs 80 crore on November 12, 2016 in Ludhiana. Punjab Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal launched Safe City Project in Ludhianaii. He also inaugurated an indoor stadium, built along the Pakhowal road at a cost of Rs
85 crore.
iii. Punjab would become the first state to come under electronic surveillance .Under safe city project, CCTV cameras would be installed over the next year or so along all national highways, entry and exit points of villages and link roads.

Abohar Wildlife Sanctuary, Harike Wildlife Sanctuary, Jhajjar Bacholi, Bir Moti Bagh Wildlife Sanctuary and Bir Bhadson Wildlife Sanctuary.
