The Bangladesh government has approved an amendment to the
extradition treaty between the two countries to make extradition easier. Under
the amendment, extradition of convicted and under-trial criminals will be
possible if a court in any of the two countries issues an arrest warrant.
Earlier, evidence of crime along with arrest warrant were needed for
