International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development

International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development  International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development is observed every year on December 5 since 1985  to show volunteers contributions at the international, national and local levels in order to get the Millennium Development Goals. It is marked by many non-governmental organizations, including Red Cross,

scouts and others. It is also marked and supported by United Nations Volunteers.
