RBI To Issue Rs 20 Banknotes With Inset Letter 'S'

Mumbai: The Reserve Bank on Wednesday said it will soon issue banknotes of Rs 20 denomination with an inset letter 'S' in the Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005. "The Reserve Bank will shortly issue Rs 20 denomination banknotes in the Mahatma Gandhi Series-2005, with inset letter S in both the number panels, bearing the signature of Raghuram G Rajan, Governor, RBI," the apex bank said in a statement.
