National Institute of Personnel Management Award for Mathrubhumi


Kochi: Mathrubhumi won the HR Best Practices award instituted by the National Institute of Personnel Management. Mathrubhumi was selected for the award in the category A for the initiatives undertaken by the institution, including the SEED project in schools. Sud Chemie India has been adjudged the runner-up. In category, B Appolo tyres, and in third category, Cochin Shipyard and V-Guard Industries
won the awards. The awards will be presented by Prof K V Thomas MP at a function to be held in Ernakulam IMA Hall at 6 pm on June 18. Minister for Labour and Excise T P Ramakrishnan will inaugurate the seminar at 9 am the same day. NIPM chairman Thomas Kadavan, secretary K Suresh and vice-chairman Joe Varkey attended the press meet.
