IIT Madras breaks into the list of Top 50 Asian Universities

Chennai: IIT Madras breaks into the list of Top 50 Asian Universities in QS-Asia rankings for 2016."We are delighted to be listed in the TOP 50 ASIAN UNIVERSTIES in QS-Asia rankings for 2016. We are also encouraged by our steep rise from the 56th position in last year's QS-Asia rankings to the 43rd position this year. We have been focused on growing and improving our research, teaching and overall

curriculum as part of our Strategic Plan 2020, and it appears to to be paying off. We will persevere and do our best to move up still further in the Asian and global rankings in the coming years," said Director, IIT Madras.
